Spring quarter may have started, but our Social Chair is already planning for Induction!
What’s Induction?
Induction is the year ending formal hosted by Katipunan. At Induction, the present cabinet members will “induct” the newly selected cabinet members in a ceremony. All members are expected to dress up in their best attire, remember the moments shared from this past year and just enjoy the evening with your Kati family.
Join the committee and help prepare this special event TODAY and for the next few months from 3-5pm at APSP.

The Katipunan Experience is Katipunan PSO’s annual outreach event and will be held on January 26-27, 2013. It will be a weekend filled with many opportunities for high school students to better themselves, learn more about the Filipino culture, what it means to be a teenager in this day and age, and it will give them a little taste of what life is like in college, more specifically, at UCR. As KE is a two-day event, the students are going to be staying overnight at the residence halls, with Katipunan members, as a part of the whole college experience. Food will also be provided and they will receive a free shirt. All of this will be free of charge to the student. All the student has to do is to find a way up to UCR (1 hour distance from LA/San Diego), bring a sleeping bag/toiletries and an open mind. This years theme is called “Making The Connection”.
Application deadline is on December 31st, 2012. Make sure you send them in to our Outreach Director, Eddie Bernardo at ucrkatipunanoutreach@gmail.com
